United Football League is, in fact, under consieration. Its slogan right now is:"Where the Future Stars Come to Play!", definitely advertisement of its role as future NFL new farm system.
At them moment, the NCAA is considered as the NFL's farm system. But it is only for college student players. In order to give chance also to non-college players, UFL is a necessary plan.
The building of UFL may also solve the problem of soaring player contract pay. A new prominent player selected from the UFL will ask much less than current star players, and they may just be as talented as any former great players.

Rams is unlikely to win in 2009 season
Although Steve Spagnulou joined the Rams, 2009 season will still be a tough season for the team.
In last season, the Rams was the second worst team, and in this offseason, perennial Pro Bowlers Orlando Pace and Torry Holt left the team. All this made the team's offensive line weaker than before. And signing free agencies and rookie players did not improve the defense.
Really tough situation. But I still do not want to say absolutely hopeless. Anyway, new coach Steve Spagnulou was rahter successful during his working for the New York Giants. Just wish them to be better than expectation.

Jackson is under pressure to work hard
In a recent radio interview, Pat Williams urged his teammate Tarvaris Jackson to work harder. To our gladness, Jackson accepted that suggestion and told the media that he will work harder.
While the media took Pat's words as criticism, I think that Pat might just want to express the challenge the team are facing. He might not mean that Jackson was not a hard-worker, but he was still not good enough.
Jackson defended his work ethic while facing media's questioning, and, in my opinion, he accepted Pat's suggestion and vowed to work harder. Really good attitude.

Alvin Keels was signed back by Andre Smith
Alvin Keels was fired by Andre Smith about 1 month ago. And late last week he was re-hired by the same Andre Smith. The signing back of the original agent finally ended the saga surrounding Bengals rookie OT Andre Smith.
Before he rehired Keels, Smith had been working with agent Rick smith for several weeks. Rick was really unhappy with being fired by Smith. I really understand that. But it seems that Smith feels more comfortable in working with the original agent.
It is said that Keels never failed to keep contact with Smith after being fired. Hope his coming back will help the Bengal's rookie get more advantages in his career.

Ochocino's position in Bengals is in danger?
It was said that Carson Palmer's absence because of elbow problems partly caused Ochocinco's bad performance in 2008 seaon. Ochocinco only finished 53 receptions, 540 yards and four touchdowns during the 2008 season. And now since the veteran quarterback has been back in perfect form, Ochocinco is expected to prove his value again.
Palmer, however, denied his responsibility for Ochocinco’s bad performance in an interview on Sirius NFL Radio. It seemed that he was disappointed with Ochocinco and praised another teammate Chris Henry. We can consider his praises as both threaten and reminding to Ochocinco.
We can hope Ochocinco to prove him an elite WR again if he hears Palmer's statements.

To Saints is it possible to believe RB Thomas can carry the load?
Recently the New Orleans Saints has been linked with free-agent RB Edgerrin James by reports.
Although Saints GM Mickey Loomis told NFL.com’s Steve Wyche that they are considering the possibility of signing Edgerrin James,
Saints coach Sean Payton seemed to like RB Pierre Thomas more. When he was asked about signing new player, he said to the Baton Rouge Advocate that he thought they should lool for the most suitable person in the team itself. Having started five games for the Saints in 2008,Thomas is in his second season in the league, and has run for 625 yards and nine touchdowns.
In February, the Saints' RB Deuce McAllister was released, and another one Reggie Bush is now ready for a microfracture surgery.
